Law Firm Seeking Experienced Network Systems Engineer for IT Infrastructure Role
Law Firm is a rapidly growing, multi-state law firm headquartered in Carrollton, TX. We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Specialist with expertise in VMware ESXI, Horizon VDI, and SAN/VSAN storage solutions to design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure.
As a Network Systems Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our virtualized and storage environments to support critical business operations. This role requires 100% on-site work and availability for after-hours maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain VMware ESXi environments for server virtualization
- Design, configure, and manage VMware Horizon VDI deployments to ensure high availability and performance
- Optimize virtual networking components, including distributed virtual switches and VLANs
- Manage and maintain Storage Area Networks (SAN), including VSAN and traditional SAN infrastructures
- Ensure seamless integration between storage solutions and VMware environments
- Monitor and optimize storage performance for virtualized workloads
- Design and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity to support virtualized environments
- Implement secure remote access solutions (VPNs) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Optimize network performance, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability
- Maintain an organized rack and cabling environment for network and server hardware
- Develop and update technical documentation, including network diagrams and operational procedures
- Provide escalation support for complex virtualization and network issues
- Partner with the team to ensure seamless infrastructure integration where needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
