Job Title: Legal Talent Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Talent Assistant is a crucial member of the Attorney Development team at a global law firm, tasked with a range of responsibilities aimed at supporting attorney development and program efforts. Key duties include:
- Assisting with the organization and attendance of attorney events, ensuring smooth execution.
- Providing support to the Attorney Development team by managing course administration, including registration sheets and course materials.
- Ensuring timely setup of AV and other technical equipment for events and trainings.
- Meeting and greeting internal and external speakers, and assisting with the layout of training rooms.
- Collaborating with the Manager of Attorney Development and Programs on research projects.
- Assisting the team with reporting requirements and creating PowerPoint presentations.
- Documenting team meetings and gathering agenda items.
- Protecting and maintaining highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information retained by the law firm.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates interested in the Legal Talent Assistant position should have:
- A high school diploma or an equivalent, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree.
- Relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role or environment.
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels within the firm.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment with a strong customer service focus.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Salary Information:
The Legal Talent Assistant position is a full-time role offering a salary range between USD $55, and USD $65, per year. The position may also be eligible for bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
