Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondence and legal documents
- Organize and maintain case files, both physically and electronically
- File pleadings and exhibits in State and Federal courts
- Calendar and maintain deadlines and appointments
- Schedule meetings, depositions, and subpoenas
- Assist attorneys with discovery and document management
- Prepare cases for mediation and trial
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other law firms
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years litigation experience
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and court filings
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe
- Excellent typing skills
- Experience with document management and billing systems preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines
