Assistant Manager, Business Development - Litigation - Full-Time Role at Law Firm
The Assistant Manager, Business Development - Litigation position at our law firm is a full-time role responsible for supporting our global business development initiatives. In this role, you will organize and leverage information about our Litigation practice areas and lawyers, provide research and analysis about clients, competitors, markets, trends, and industries, and support the implementation of strategic plans for successful growth.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various business and operational support functions for the Litigation Department
- Draft pitch and proposal materials
- Help design and implement practice and industry-related initiatives
- Prepare and manage directory submissions and survey responses
- Maintain deal and case experience and manage the Firm's engagement database
- Maintain website content, Partner biographies, and other Business Development communications materials
- Coordinate Firm-sponsored events, webinars, presentations, and event logistics
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide competitive intelligence reports and analysis
- Support Business Development projects and other Firm initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- Minimum of 3 years as a practicing attorney or 5-7 years of Business Development experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a competitive environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and web-based research
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent research and analytical abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Prior experience in marketing and business development at a law firm preferred
- Familiarity with Content Pilot's and/or Foundation's suite of products or other experience database preferred
- Experience with website maintenance and/or Client Relationship Management (CRM) system preferred
- Some experience with Bloomberg Law preferred
Salary Information:
The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on various factors, including qualifications, experience, education, and location. This role is exempt, meaning it is not eligible for overtime pay.
