Overview:
- Orrick, a global law firm, is seeking a Regulatory and Insights Analyst for their Strategic Advisory and Government Enforcement (SAGE) business unit.
- This position is open to candidates with experience in the US legislative and regulatory environment and can be based in any US office or work remotely.
- The analyst will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing legislative and regulatory tracking within SAGE, as well as identifying new areas for tracking and developing client-facing products.
- This role requires strong project management skills, technical proficiency, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and streamline all tracking requirements within SAGE, including integrating tracking into internal platforms and optimizing the use of existing data sources.
- Collaborate with SAGE leadership and partners to identify and prioritize tracking, and propose recommendations consistent with SAGE's strategy and goals.
- Work with various departments to leverage regulatory data and identify opportunities for thought leadership and business development.
- Keep up-to-date with new tracking products and AI implementation to ensure SAGE remains market-leading.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, attorneys, and clients.
- Work closely with colleagues to promote and champion SAGE's tracking services.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the US legislative and regulatory environment and associated issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze information and identify trends.
- Familiarity with legal information products and platforms, as well as experience and interest in AI and new technology.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
