Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator - Shared Services
Job Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Coordinator at the law firm is tasked with supporting the firm's global HR processes and data management. This role involves handling a variety of administrative and employee support tasks within a shared services model, catering to employees and HR colleagues across all offices worldwide. Key responsibilities include:
- Completing data entry for new hires, changes/transfers, and terminations in Workday, and coordinating related communications and logistics.
- Facilitating data validation efforts between the HRIS team and data stakeholders, investigating missing information and discrepancies, and proposing enhancements for data entry and auditing processes.
- Providing front-line support to designated teams and end-users on HR data entry and related requests.
- Preparing and coordinating new hire onboarding, which includes conducting orientation presentations, drafting orientation materials, scheduling meetings, sending welcome emails, and verifying I-9 documentation.
- Managing compliance-related administrative tasks and trainings.
- Supporting the HRIS team with Workday troubleshooting, including researching and escalating technical issues, facilitating business process approvals, and testing recommended enhancements.
- Monitoring the HR support queue and providing prompt and accurate responses to HR requests and questions.
- Supporting firmwide performance management processes.
- Assisting with biweekly business professional timesheet audits.
- Maintaining electronic personnel files and ensuring all HR onboarding, off-boarding, and talent documents are electronically filed in the worker records.
- Drafting, maintaining, and sharing HR reference documents and supporting materials.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Human Resources Coordinator position are required to have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least two years of related experience in data management practices and employee-focused customer support.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with HR Information System (HRIS) software and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize tasks and priorities based on broad objectives and guidance.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly.
Salary Information:
The target hiring range for the Human Resources Coordinator position is between $55,000 and $65,000. It is important to note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of final salary offers, which may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one aspect of the total rewards that the law firm provides to compensate and recognize staff professionals for their work. Full-time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
