Job Title: Legal Assistant - Employment and Labor Relations and Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Assistant will provide skilled and proactive support to the Employment and Labor Relations and Litigation groups within the law firm. Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting assigned attorneys by preparing and reviewing documents, letters, and memoranda according to the law firm's standards using word processing and document management systems and software.
- Accurately proofreading and editing documents to ensure precision and compliance with legal standards.
- Performing administrative duties independently, including managing attorney schedules and calendars, proofing, editing, and releasing attorney time entries, registering, calendaring, and reporting Continuing Legal Education (CLE) activities, and assisting with the management of client contacts, emails, and print documents.
- Processing mail, requesting, and following up on reimbursements, and performing other related administrative tasks.
- E-filing documents in state and federal courts as required.
- Supporting the billing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Creating, maintaining, and retiring files in accordance with the law firm's Information Governance Policy.
- Reviewing attorney emails and saving them to the correct client files as requested.
- Providing outstanding client service through greeting guests, scheduling meetings, and interacting with clients professionally.
- Displaying strong attention to detail and responding to requests with urgency while effectively prioritizing work.
- Demonstrating flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all matters and information.
- Communicating clearly and concisely in a professional manner.

Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate should have 3+ years of related experience, which is strongly preferred.
- A proficient command of the English language and standard grammar rules is required.
- The candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office programs.
- The candidate should have a desire to maintain and upgrade their technical skills and learn new software.
