Position Overview:

As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact cases and provide counsel to a diverse range of clients, including start-ups, Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, and higher education institutions. You will have the chance to hone your skills in traditional labor and employment litigation, as well as gain exposure to higher education law. Key Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in traditional labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour claims, and wrongful termination cases.
- Provide counsel to higher education institutions on compliance with Title IX, student conduct matters, and other relevant regulations.
- Draft and review contracts, policies, and handbooks.
- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda and briefs.
- Participate in mediations, depositions, and hearings before administrative agencies and in court.
- Stay current with evolving labor laws, higher education regulations, and employment policies.

Qualifications:

- . from an accredited law school.
- 2-4 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a preference for candidates with exposure to higher education law.
- Strong litigation and legal writing skills.
- Experience drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team while also managing individual cases.
- Demonstrated interest in staying current with evolving labor laws, higher education regulations, and employment policies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
