Job Title: Global Insurance Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all stages of litigation.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, discovery, and agreements, utilizing e-filing systems.
- Manage case files by creating, organizing, tracking, and maintaining them; monitor calendars and meeting deadlines; document actions; input information into file database and case management software.
- Oversee and assist with the discovery process, including analyzing medical records, obtaining independent medical examinations (IMEs), scheduling depositions, assisting with discovery requests and responses, and preparing/filing pleadings, privilege logs, and memoranda.
- Establish and maintain strong communications with clients, experts, and witnesses.
- Perform factual research and investigation.
- Utilize computer databases to organize, store, and access information; conduct moderately complex research on LEXIS, Westlaw, and other online computer-assisted research databases.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal environment is required.
- A four-year college degree and/or paralegal certificate is required.
- Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with the team and clients.
- Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possess excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills.
- Candidates must have the motivation and skill to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven computer/technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, are a must.
- Candidates should have experience handling complex matters and the ability to prioritize and balance a variety of tasks.
