Job Title: Associate - Investment Services

Job Responsibilities:
The role involves joining the Investment Services team at a law firm, with opportunities available in either the Chicago or Washington, DC offices. Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with shareholders and participating in business development and client-facing activities.
- Engaging in a diverse and multidisciplinary practice within the Investment Services team.
- Managing multiple legal matters simultaneously.
- Providing excellent client service while working collaboratively within a cohesive team environment.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates should have 1-4 years of corporate or securities law experience at a law firm.
- Experience with registered investment companies, investment advisers, private funds, and regulatory compliance matters is required, particularly with federal securities laws such as the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933.
- Transactional/mergers & acquisition experience involving investment companies is preferred.
- Candidates must hold a . degree with strong academic credentials.
- Admission in good standing or steps to become admitted in the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois or District of Columbia) is necessary.

Salary Information:
- The annual base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $280,000.
- A discretionary annual bonus program is available.
