Law Firm Seeking Business Development Manager for Real Estate, Environmental, and State Attorneys General Practice Groups in Multiple Locations

Kelley Drye, a top-tier law firm with a boutique mindset, is searching for a Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will work closely with practice group leaders, partners, and internal teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that support client development and new business pursuits. The position is available in multiple locations, including Washington ., New Jersey, New York, and Texas.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute business development plans and budgets for practice groups and individual attorneys to increase the firm's visibility and brand recognition.
- Identify strategies and actionable steps to maximize new business opportunities and relationship expansion.
- Manage RFP responses and produce client-centric pitches and presentations.
- Conduct research on new business targets, industries, and competitors.
- Track and report on results of pitches, proposals, and referrals.
- Provide training and coaching to lawyers on business development best practices.
- Devise strategies to raise the profiles of the practice and key attorneys through speaking, sponsorship, and writing opportunities.
- Coordinate with marketing and communications team to implement events and execute content marketing strategy.
- Work with attorney leaders to develop award submissions for industry recognitions.

Requirements:

- At least 5 years of marketing or business development experience.
- Strong client service orientation and ability to support entrepreneurial lawyers.
- Highly motivated, persuasive, and collaborative.
- Excellent writing, project management, research, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary Information:

- Salary range for Washington ., New Jersey, and New York City: $150,000 - $200,000, based on internal equity, market data, and applicant's skills and experience.
