Job Title: Conflicts Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of a Conflicts Specialist at the law firm is to perform a variety of tasks related to the identification and management of conflicts of interest within the firm. This includes conducting online conflict of interest searches on potential clients and parties related to existing or prospective clients in a timely manner, with a preference for experience using Intapp or Intapp-related conflicts products. The specialist is responsible for escalating conflicts search results to conflicts staff attorneys as necessary and for entering conflict information related to the firm's clients into the online conflict records. Additional responsibilities include running special searches as needed, entering and updating records in the firm's conflict database regarding newly hired attorneys and fiduciary relationships, producing and circulating daily reports on conflicts searches and new matters opened, and assisting with special projects and tasks as assigned.

The Conflicts Specialist is expected to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, adhering to scheduled breaks, lunches, and meetings. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines, as well as a willingness to adapt to and learn new technology, software programs, and upgrades. The specialist must demonstrate flexibility and maintain excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including accurate grammar and spelling. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are essential, along with the ability to understand and follow work instructions with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Conflicts Specialist position should have at least one year of experience in general office work, including data entry and working with office personnel or other related duties, with law firm experience preferred. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, analysis, and organizational skills. Candidates should possess strong database search skills, including the development of search logic and strategies, and the ability to accurately type 35-40 words per minute. Experience with Microsoft Office is required, and experience with Intapp products is preferred.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Conflicts Specialist position varies based on location, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In Washington State, the annualized salary range is $68,000 to $77,000 ( hourly). In Los Angeles, California, the annualized salary range is $72,000 to $80,000 ( - hourly), while in San Francisco, California, the range is $83,000 to $92,000 ( - hourly). Full-time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional Health Savings Account (HSA), long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine, virtual short-term solution-based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. The initial vacation benefit for full-time employees is 15 days per year, with 11 days of sick leave per year, accrued bi-weekly.
