About the Role
The Paralegal Team Lead at the law firm is a crucial position that requires an exceptional leader who is also a cooperative team player. The primary responsibilities include supervising other paralegals, monitoring the work production of the support staff, and identifying and engaging in ways to improve efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
Supervise and manage a team of Court Team paralegals by providing guidance, support, performance evaluations and management, and payroll to ensure high levels of productivity and morale
Create and execute training and development plans for new hires and current team members
Attend leadership meetings with up-to-date information on key performance indicators (KPIs), the status of projects, and overall work product of the Court paralegal team
Develop and document procedures for new case types as the firm expands its practice areas
Oversee and ensure that team members are completing a thorough review of all case information that is returned and identifying opportunities/inconsistencies that require attorneys’ attention
Serve as the primary point of escalation for reviewing or processing Court Team requests that are highly complex, unique, or unusual
Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by management
Education and Experience Information
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements (Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities)
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree in paralegal studies or related field or paralegal certification preferred. Relevant experience as an immigration paralegal in a law firm may be substituted for the degree requirement
Prior experience with one or more of the following immigration fields is a plus: VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Asylum, Medical DA, I-601, Adjustment of Status, DS-260, DS-160
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and procedures and experience utilizing these in an immigration setting
Advanced computer skills (Proficient with MS Office or similar programs including Adobe, Dropbox, Salesforce, Document Management, etc.)
Possesses excellent English interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, bilingual in Spanish preferred
Positive attitude with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
Salary Information
The pay range for this role is: 30 - 30 USD per hour (Dublin, Ohio)
Additional Information
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST
