Responsibilities:

As a Workers Compensation Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:

Schedule depositions, hearings, and other meetings
Draft and respond to discovery requests
File documents with the court using e-filing systems
Prepare for court hearings, mediation, and trial
Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals
Maintain organized and accurate case files

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

Previous experience in workers’ compensation is a plus, but not required
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Proficiency in drafting legal documents and responding to discovery
Experience with e-filing through court systems
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software
