Job Title: BIC Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities:
The BIC Operations Manager at the law firm is tasked with the development and leadership of training initiatives within the Business Intake and Conflicts (BIC) department. This role involves creating comprehensive training programs for both new and current employees, ensuring that all training materials and processes are well-documented and accessible. Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for onboarding new joiners and ongoing training for existing employees.
- Creating processes and procedures for documenting best practices, individualized skills roadmaps, and aligning them with professional development goals.
- Designing visual presentations and improving draft program materials to align with the firm's brand standards.
- Maintaining the BIC training platform for user-friendly access.
- Staying updated with the latest trends in learning and development delivery tools and recommending improvements.
- Coordinating training sessions, workshops, and seminars alongside subject matter experts.
- Implementing a "train the trainer" program to expand the group of BIC personnel delivering training.
- Managing logistics for training events, including meeting room arrangements, setup, and technology requirements.
- Creating communication plans for training events and managing program communications.
- Providing on-site support during training events and conferences.
- Developing processes to identify and support high-performing BIC members and those facing challenges.
- Facilitating frequent feedback exchanges between BIC leadership and team members.
- Promoting employee engagement within the BIC department.
- Collaborating with BIC Leadership and other stakeholders to deliver training solutions.
- Designing surveys and program evaluations for consistent data collection.
- Acting as a liaison between the BIC business unit, technology teams, and other support teams.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments.
- Serving as the primary administrator for BIC's external and internal knowledge pages.
- Collaborating with HR on onboarding new BIC members.
- Maintaining policies and procedures for the firm's annual audit.
- Attending meetings, drafting meeting minutes, and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Performing other assigned duties as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
Required qualifications for the BIC Operations Manager position include:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications after orientation.
- Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, and travel as required.
- A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in conflicts, legal intake, or training.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

- A Bachelor's degree or JD.
- Strong knowledge and experience in conflicts resolution.
- Paralegal Certificate or completion of an ethics course in a paralegal program.
- Prior experience as a paralegal or legal researcher in a law firm.
- Supervisory experience.

Salary Information:
The expected annual pay range for the BIC Operations Manager position with a full-time schedule is $110,000 - $155,000. The final offer amount will depend on geographic location, applicable experience, and the candidate's skillset.
