Job Title: Mid-Level Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The role of the Mid-Level Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate involves working within the corporate group of a law firm, focusing on executive compensation and employee benefits law. The primary responsibilities include:

- Handling equity plans and agreements, executive retention packages, and retirement and welfare plans.
- Managing employee benefit plans and compensation arrangements in mergers and acquisitions.
- Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
- Producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
- Providing timely, accurate, and quality work product.
- Meeting deadlines, expectations, and performing work duties as required.
- Fostering positive work relationships.
- Complying with all firm policies and practices.
- Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings as needed.
- Working under pressure and managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Performing all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
Education:
- Juris Doctor () degree.

Bar Admission:
- Must be licensed to practice in the District of Columbia.

Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation.
- Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience is preferred.

Salary Information:
The expected hiring range for this position is between $310,000 and $420,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. The compensation offered will also depend on other factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. The law firm offers a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements:
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
- Work Environment: Hybrid - Regular in-office presence with some flexibility for work-from-home.
