Job Title: Legal Secretary
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Prepare, transcribe, and file legal documents such as contracts and court filings.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in the management of projects related to ongoing cases or legal matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed.
- Utilize CLIO software for case management and billing purposes.
- Support attorneys during client interviews by taking notes and summarizing discussions.
Education and Experience Information:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a law firm.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania State and Federal Criminal, Civil, and Appellate matters preferred.
- Proficient in County/PAC File/Pacer electronic filing.
- Experience with CLIO or similar legal management software is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail in document preparation.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Salary Information:
- Pay: - per hour
