Job Title: Client Intake (Conflicts) Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
The Client Intake (Conflicts) Analyst plays a crucial role within the law firm's Client Intake Department. The primary responsibilities of the Intake Analyst include mitigating risks associated with the intake of potential new business for the firm. Key duties include:

- Performing corporate research on legal entities involved in potential new business using multiple resources.
- Conducting conflict searches across the Department's records to identify potential conflicts of interest and generating conflict reports summarizing findings.
- Providing guidance to attorneys and assistants regarding intake policies and procedures.
- Responding to inquiries and requests promptly, with courtesy and efficiency.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the Client Intake team to fulfill the business needs of the firm.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records by confirming the completeness and accuracy of data, including necessary communication with firm lawyers and others.
- Participating in weekend and holiday on-call coverage for time-sensitive requests.
- Assuming additional responsibilities as requested.
- This role requires 60% in-office presence, with remote work permissible 40% of the time.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with conflicts analysis or in a large law firm or similar environment is required.
- Knowledge of conflict rules under the Rules of Professional Conduct is necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
- The candidate should have demonstrated ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues throughout the firm.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills are required, along with excellent attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving skills, reasoning ability, and a logical thought process are essential.
- The candidate must have the ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing deadlines, and execute tasks through to completion.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
- Outstanding customer service skills and an enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude are required.
- The candidate must have the utmost respect for the need to protect confidential and otherwise non-public information.
- Self-motivation to produce quality work and a high level of integrity and honesty are expected.
- Prior experience with Intapp, CapIQ, and LexisNexis is a plus.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel, are required.
- The candidate should be able to quickly get up to speed and master new processes, applications, and software.
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary is required.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Client Intake (Conflicts) Analyst position in New York and Washington, . is between $65,000 to $85,000. This position is also bonus eligible. The law firm offers a comprehensive benefits package.
