Job Responsibilities
The AV Technician II position is situated within the IT Department and is tasked with supporting the firm's video conference meetings and events. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in the setup and dismantling of videoconference environments, ensuring all video conferencing equipment such as codecs, cameras, and microphones are properly arranged.
- Engaging in preflight production meetings to advise clients for optimal meeting experiences.
- Scheduling videoconference systems to guarantee timely calls and support for firm meetings.
- Evaluating emerging technologies to uphold high-quality standards and adhering to performance standards, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Providing technical support for videoconference systems, including installation and break/fix work.
- Supporting and troubleshooting the firm's Zoom platform, large format events, and hybrid meetings.
- Administering and maintaining Zoom rooms and MS Teams rooms.
- Creating and maintaining documentation and best practices for the AV team to reference.
- Coordinating with other IT group members as necessary to provide adequate meeting support.
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting Cisco video rooms, Zoom Rooms, and remote AV support is essential.
- Experience in maintaining and collaborating in a large environment (100+) of video conferencing rooms is required, with an ability to understand nuances between different room builds.
- Proven experience in supporting Cisco equipment, Zoom Rooms, MS Teams, and Webex is necessary.
- Preferred certifications include AVIXA CTS.
- Candidates should possess strong verbal and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong customer service and team skills.

Salary Information

- New York: $66,700 - $96,700
This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
