Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial and appeal
- Assist with trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit management
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Gather relevant case materials
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as discovery requests
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Schedule depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings
- Maintain calendar, manage deadlines, proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, and provide administrative support to attorneys as needed
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
- Proficient in document management, legal case management, and billing software
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology related to litigation, and procedural deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct legal research using online databases and resources
- Experience with legal drafting, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary Information:
- $60,000 to $70,000 Yearly
