Job Title: Philanthropic Solutions Area Manager
Job Responsibilities:
The Philanthropic Solutions Area Manager at Company leads a team of professionals dedicated to serving the unique administrative, investment, and risk-mitigation needs of the nonprofit community and charitable products. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of specialists in the Philanthropic Solutions vertical with high-level expertise.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for Philanthropic Solutions across the Wealth Management division, partnering on key initiatives.
- Serving as a community leader and networking with prospective clients.
- Actively marketing business solutions both internally and externally, including administrative, fiduciary, and investment management services.
- Engaging in new business development strategies and retaining existing client relationships with a strong focus on prudent revenue growth.
- Assigning accounts and ensuring relationships are managed in compliance with policies and procedures to meet satisfactory audits and service standards.
- Acting as a resource for answering questions, reviewing documents, and negotiating fees.
- Developing and coaching team members in relationship development and client experience efforts.
- Maintaining strong relationships with bank partners and other key influencers.
- Potentially managing account relationships.
- Recruiting, hiring, developing, coaching, and managing the team to ensure optimal staffing levels and succession planning.
- Ensuring prudent risk management strategies are in place, and business practices comply with internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulations.
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. It is also incentive eligible.
Education and Experience Information:
Requirements for the position include:
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Ten (10) years of Trust experience, preferably in Philanthropic Solutions.
Preferences for candidates include:
- A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
- A Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD).
- Professional designations and/or certifications.
- Previous Investment Management or Philanthropic Solutions experience.
- Management experience.
- Charitable Trust experience.
Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies:
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
- Demonstrate positive leadership and coaching skills and principles.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
- Proven and effective sales techniques.
- Proficiency in applicable computer software, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
- A strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Subject matter expertise in Philanthropic Solutions.
Salary Information:
Compensation for this full-time position is based on several factors including experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance. The pay range is job-specific and serves as a market reference for compensation decisions. The target information based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for the position location is as follows:
- Minimum: $140, USD
- Median: $182, USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible for a formulaic incentive plan, with potential earnings based on performance against defined metrics and goals. There is also an opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
