In this role, the Billing Specialist will be responsible for generating and distributing monthly proformas and final client bills for the Intellectual Property department at the law firm **Members Only** This is a full-time position with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule available in various locations across the United States, including Washington, ., Orange County, California, Los Angeles, California, Houston, Texas, and Seattle, Washington. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of Elite billing experience and can expect a salary range of $59,300-$107,825, with the possibility of additional compensation through annual bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute demand and monthly proformas to billing lawyers
- Process edits, transfers, and changes as directed
- Produce draft bills for approval
- Work closely with billing lawyers and staff to prepare final client bills
- Research client account activities, resolve billing inquiries, and generate reports
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in accounting or accounting certification preferred
- Minimum of two years of Elite billing experience
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Salary Information:
Salaries for this position will vary based on multiple factors, including prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The base salary range for this position will be determined during the interview process and may fall outside of the listed range. Additionally, salary may only be a part of the total compensation package, which also includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Eligible employees may also enroll in a 401(k) plan and participate in various Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans, as well as utilize employee assistance programs and commuter benefits. Employees will also receive paid holidays, personal days, and vacation time, as well as various other benefits such as bereavement leave and parental leave.

- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work overtime occasionally as needed
