Job Title: Senior Business Development Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Development Manager in achieving key strategic objectives for designated business units.
- Assume direct business development and marketing responsibilities for specific projects within selected business units.
- Prepare customized client and prospect pitch decks, proposals, and responses to RFPs, which includes writing, editing, proofreading, production, distribution, and attorney follow-up. Ensure client consent for using names, logos, and matter descriptions is obtained and documented.
- Gather, write, and update representative experience descriptions and capability statements to enhance proposals, marketing materials, and directory submissions.
- Track and record the return on investment (ROI) from business development and marketing activities in Salesforce, and prepare reports for Marketing Leadership as needed.
- Research and identify potential events and strategic business development activities for individual professionals and assigned business units.
- Prepare compelling legal directory, survey, and ranking submissions to elevate the profile of practices and partners.
- Assist with updating mailing lists and preparing marketing communications, including client alerts, newsletters, and invitations for events and webinars.
- Update website content with the MarTech team, including deal news, speaking engagements, bio, and practice area pages.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
- 3-5 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably within a law firm.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong writing, editorial, and proofreading capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a consistent ability to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional client service skills, with strong influencing and negotiating abilities, and the capacity to persuade others to deliver.
- Technologically proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proven ability to self-manage and multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Salary Information:
The base annual pay range for this role is between $72,000 and $80,000. The base pay offered will vary depending on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal equity. A full range of medical, financial, and other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
