Job Title: Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
As a Title & Survey Paralegal within the Finance department at the law firm, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Organizing and reviewing due diligence documents, preparing due diligence checklists, and coordinating and tracking the receipt of due diligence documents.
- Preparing summaries of due diligence documents received in connection with the preparation of disclosure documents.
- Drafting, proofreading, and preparing routine and complex transaction documents.
- Assisting with researching federal, state, and local laws.
- Preparing closing checklists, closing certificates, and other closing documents.
- Coordinating the execution of closing documents and conducting closings.
- Preparing closing transcripts and filing UCCs and other required filings.
- Traveling to client and/or trial sites as needed.
Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- Significant experience with title & survey review, due diligence review, UCC searches/filings, and post-closing follow-up.
- Commercial real estate experience with a law firm, title company, commercial lender, or other related entity.
- Experience with Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac CME, and/or HUD-insured programs is a plus.
- A college degree is preferred.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is from $80,000 to $115,000, depending upon experience and location. Additional Information:
The position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days a week in a law firm office at one of the following locations: Atlanta, Baltimore, Denver, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Washington, .
