Job Title: Paralegal / Legal Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
A small law firm is seeking a full-time paralegal to support its litigation practice focusing on personal injury and insurance claims, business litigation, and probate disputes. The role entails a variety of tasks that require excellent communication and organizational skills, along with an assertive, pleasant, and compassionate demeanor. Key responsibilities include:

- Opening new files and managing them through the litigation process in the courts
- Communicating with clients regarding their treatment
- Preparing letters to request medical and billing records
- Entering data into computer programs
- Answering telephones
- Preparing and e-filing court pleadings
- Summarizing medical records
- Drafting discovery compliance
- Coordinating with other law firms to schedule depositions
- Preparing exhibits for trial
- Assisting attorneys during trial

Education and Experience Information:

Salary Information:
Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience.
