Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Move cases from intake to resolution, ensuring the efficient progression of each case.
- Be familiar with relevant practice book sections to apply appropriate legal procedures.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct monthly check-in calls with every client to provide updates and gather information.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for case development.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met for various case-related tasks.
- Maintain professionalism in all phone communications with clients and external parties.
- Handle final settlement calculations and prepare necessary documents for case resolutions.
Education and Experience Information:
- Proven experience as a successful personal injury paralegal is required.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles such as statute of limitations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficient in legal drafting with attention to detail in all written communications.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex information effectively.
- Demonstrated project management skills to coordinate case activities efficiently.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of work.
Salary Information:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $60, - $75, per year
