Law Firm Seeks Manager of Lateral Recruiting in New York

The world-renowned law firm Proskauer is seeking a Manager of Lateral Recruiting to join their team in New York. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal recruiter to work with top talent and collaborate with industry leaders across various practices and industries. The successful candidate will report to the Associate Director of Lateral Recruiting and play a critical role in the firm's recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and support lateral associate and counsel hiring for the firm
- Develop innovative strategies to source, recruit, and hire top talent
- Establish and maintain relationships with legal search firms and promote the firm's talent brand
- Oversee all aspects of the recruitment process including drafting position descriptions, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews and offers
- Gather necessary pre-hire information from candidates
- Analyze recruiting data and communicate results to firm management
- Collaborate with Legal Recruiting staff in other offices to promote firm-wide recruiting efforts
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of law firm experience, with previous legal recruiting experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and think strategically
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Team-oriented and able to work with all levels of firm personnel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well under pressure

Compensation and Benefits:
