As a Labor and Employment Associate, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in both employment law and litigation. You will be responsible for handling discrimination cases, wage and hour class actions, and contract disputes in federal and state court, as well as before administrative agencies. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on transactional matters, such as advising and counseling clients, conducting wage and hour audits, and conducting research and analysis on complex employment issues. The role also includes drafting and reviewing employment-related documents, such as agreements, policies and procedures, and employee communications.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on litigation and transactional work. This includes a strong understanding of discrimination cases, wage and hour laws, and contract disputes. The candidate should also have experience conducting employment training and possess a thorough understanding of traditional labor law. Superior academic and writing credentials are required, along with admission to the New York Bar. Admission to the NJ/PA/CT Bar is a plus.
