Job Title: Legal Support Specialist - Transactional

Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Support Specialist provides high-level support to a team of attorneys, focusing on business development, managing day-to-day administrative and strategic initiatives, workflow management, and preparation of client reports and documents. Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating the creation, editing, proofreading, and processing of legal documents, such as correspondence, memoranda, closing documents, pleadings, or other practice-specific documents.
- Maintaining legal files, both paper and electronic, organizing and filing documents in designated order.
- Updating case information, scanning, and organizing legal files.
- Managing document deliveries and tracking final executed documentation.
- Receiving and evaluating telephone calls for supported attorneys, fielding calls, and conveying messages as necessary. Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and liaisons.
- Collaborating and working with Administrative Support Coordinators, Paralegals, and other legal support team members where applicable.
- Attending team strategy meetings.
- Understanding firm available resources and leveraging the most effective resource for desired results.
- Assisting with overflow work and other special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience within a law firm or other professional organization is required.
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, or agency rules of the assigned practice group/department (., State and Federal court filing, including e-filings) is necessary.
- Experience with e-filing is required.
- Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Working knowledge of iManage and Concur is preferred.

Salary Information:
The expected pay range for this position is per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
