Job Title: Analyst, CRM & Email Marketing
Job Responsibilities:
The Analyst, CRM & Email Marketing is an integral member of the Business Development & Communications department at the law firm. The primary responsibility of this role is to administer and enhance the law firm's global CRM platform, with a focus on email marketing, data quality, and user adoption. This position involves working collaboratively across various functions to improve CRM performance, optimize marketing campaigns, ensure compliance with international data protection laws, and support strategic business development objectives.
Key duties include:
- Email Marketing Management:
- Building and deploying firm-wide email marketing campaigns such as event invitations, thought leadership pieces, and announcements.
- Managing the complete campaign process, which includes audience segmentation, A/B testing, delivery, performance analysis, and reporting.
- Ensuring content accuracy through meticulous proofreading and quality control reviews.
- Developing and maintaining email templates using HTML/CSS and adhering to best practices for design and deliverability.
- CRM System Administration:
- Managing daily operations of the law firm's CRM system (InterAction) and supporting integrations with platforms like Vuture and SharePoint.
- Improving and maintaining CRM processes including data integrity, contact management, and pipeline tracking.
- Performing data entry, deduplication, and cleansing as necessary.
- Leading initiatives to enhance data quality and system usability.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Creating dashboards, mailing lists, and custom reports to support firm-wide marketing initiatives and business development campaigns.
- Translating business needs into actionable insights and user-friendly reporting formats.
- Compliance and Data Governance:
- Ensuring compliance with global data protection laws such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and German opt-ins.
- Managing consent request distributions and maintaining accurate opt-in records.
- Training and Support:
- Providing CRM training and technical support to attorneys, administrative staff, and internal teams.
- Delivering refresher sessions and developing user guides and best practices materials.
Education and Experience:
Candidates for the Analyst, CRM & Email Marketing position should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in CRM and email marketing, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Strong knowledge of InterAction, DealCloud, or familiarity with other relational databases is required. Proficiency in Vuture, Sitecore, and/or SharePoint is a strong advantage. The candidate should possess proven HTML and CSS skills, advanced Excel skills, and experience in manipulating large data sets. Excellent proofreading and content review skills with a high standard for accuracy and detail are essential. The ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, along with a self-starter attitude, initiative, accountability, and a problem-solving mindset, is also necessary.
Education/Certifications:
A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Information Technology.
Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for the Analyst, CRM & Email Marketing position is $100,000 - $110,000. Compensation decisions within this range depend on various factors, including the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
