Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in the preparation, proofreading, revision, and filing of legal documents.
- Manage the calendaring of court deadlines to ensure all legal timelines are met.
- Schedule travel, appointments, and maintain attorneys' calendars to optimize time management.
- Maintain organized files and records, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with legal standards.
- Submit intake and conflicts requests to facilitate smooth case management.
- Handle time entry and client billing processes accurately and efficiently.
- Provide assistance to other legal assistants and attorneys as needed, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Review and analyze documents, data, and depositions as required by attorneys and/or clients to support case development.
- Assist in preparing for depositions of fact and expert witnesses to ensure comprehensive case representation.
- Coordinate the preparation of motions and briefs, including assembling exhibits, filing, and service.
- Support trial preparation by gathering trial exhibits, preparing witness binders, creating deposition designations, and organizing materials for attorney use.
- Prepare electronic presentations and coordinate with litigation support personnel to enhance trial presentations.
- Liaise with internal departments and external sources to gather necessary information and data.
- Provide proactive management of larger cases, including coordinating support efforts and preparing for upcoming events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the legal team and firm operations.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of five to seven years of experience in complex commercial litigation is required.
- Familiarity with State and Federal court procedures and requirements, including e-filing, is essential.
- Trial experience is mandatory to effectively support attorneys during trial proceedings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic document management systems is required.
- Advanced knowledge of these software applications is preferred.
- Experience with Filesite is advantageous for managing legal documents.
