Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate's duties include: Scheduling and maintaining of attorney's calendar; Gathering of police reports, medical records and other supporting evidence; Reviewing, indexing, organizing and summarizing documents produced by other parties and medical health care providers; Communicating and corresponding with clients about case status and preparation; Drafting complaints and discovery requests; Responding to discovery requests from Defendants; Motion practice; E-Filing legal pleadings with the courts; Coordinating with process servers; Keeping track of pretrial and trial order deadlines; Assisting with preparing pretrial and trial motions, trial exhibits, trial notebooks, etc; Typing jury instructions from form book; Organizing and summarizing medical bills and insurance liens; Maintaining knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, principles and procedures; Bookkeeping and other general office tasks. Attention to Detail required. Effective Verbal and Written Communication required. 3 years' of experience as a Paralegal working in Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation in Florida preferred. Paralegal certificate preferred or, in the alternative, equivalent relevant experience preferred. Proficiency with MS Office and i-Manange systems preferred. Should have 3 years of experience working on litigating Plaintiff Personal Injury cases.
