Job Title: Privacy and Compliance Analyst (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:
The Privacy and Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting various firm-wide projects and initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the law firm's data protection initiatives and processes.
- Conducting risk assessments, including client risk assessments, data protection impact assessments, or artificial intelligence assessments.
- Conducting investigations, inquiries, and remediation efforts.
- Providing analysis and support for privacy and compliance initiatives such as privacy by design, data minimization, continuous improvement of access management and controls, and appropriate use, handling, and protection of personal information.
- Developing and assisting with corrective action plans.
- Monitoring and auditing various law firm processes involving personal information.
- Resolving internal audit findings and ensuring all operational processes align with compliance requirements.
- Creating and maintaining procedural documentation for law firm processes and initiatives.
- Participating in data protection controls strategy and administration of privacy and security controls in support of the law firm's regulatory and federal government requirements.
- Serving as a privacy and compliance resource to cross-functional teams and workgroups to continuously identify, improve, and monitor processes designed to mitigate the risk of non-compliance.
- Assisting with administrative and operational privacy and compliance program functions.
- Handling special projects and duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
Required Qualifications & Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 2-4 years of professional compliance experience, including familiarity with privacy and data protection.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with clients, internal attorneys, cross-functional teams, leaders, and subject matter experts.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and iManage.

Preferred Qualifications & Education:
- Knowledge or understanding of data protection principles.
- GRC experience.
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Privacy.
- Law firm experience.
- Industry standard certification such as CCEP, CIPP, CIPM, or other similar certification.

Salary Information:
The position may be filled in Washington, Illinois, District of Columbia, New York, Colorado, or California. The base salary ranges for this position are:
- Washington: $74,000 – $112,000 per year
- Illinois: $74,000 – $112,000 per year
- District of Columbia: $81,000 – $122,000 per year
- New York City: $81,000 – $122,000 per year
- Colorado: $68,000 – $102,000 per year
- California: $81,000 – $122,000 per year
