Job Title: Marketing Manager, Events
Job Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager, Events is responsible for shaping and executing the marketing strategy for the law firm's signature events. These events include high-impact forums, thought leadership summits, and bespoke industry gatherings attended by business leaders. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing end-to-end event marketing strategies that align with the firm's objectives and audience insights.
- Serving as a strategic advisor to stakeholders, providing consultative guidance and translating business goals into compelling event marketing strategies.
- Blending creative marketing savvy with strong commercial insight to maximize ROI, uncover growth opportunities, and elevate brand presence.
- Managing multiple projects and competing deadlines by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business development, marketing technology, digital marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), external communications, internal communications, and brand teams.
- Overseeing the production and distribution of promotional assets, including email campaigns, digital ads, social media, web content, and video, to drive registrations and deepen engagement.
- Innovating and iterating on engagement tactics, such as live polling, gamification, and follow-up nurture tracks, to extend event reach and content lifespan.
- Defining and tracking event KPIs, including engagement, conversion rates, and post-event survey feedback, capturing data at every stage to inform continuous improvement.
- Translating quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable recommendations, presenting clear ROI analyses and strategic next steps to stakeholders.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least seven (7) years of related work experience.
- Proficiency with key marketing technology platforms, including Cvent, Eloqua, WordPress, Salesforce, Vidyard, and Survey Monkey.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully and confidently present in both individual and group settings at all levels of an organization.
- Experience leveraging data to make informed recommendations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-profile relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to execute plans and tactics across organizational stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word), Photoshop and Premiere is a plus.
- Ability to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel (up to 10% annually) to support event execution and marketing strategy on-site.
Salary Information:
- Target Hiring Range: $107,000 - $158,000
- Salary ranges are not guarantees of final salary offers and may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
- Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards package, which includes a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- The employee is required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, talk, and hear.
- The employee must occasionally lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
- The work environment is a typical indoor office environment.
