Job Title: Associate - Registered Investment Funds
Job Responsibilities:
- Work as a Corporate Associate within the Investment Services team of the law firm.
- Collaborate closely with shareholders and engage in business development and client-facing activities.
- Play a leading or key role in transactions, specifically related to investment company reorganizations or mergers.
- Manage multiple matters simultaneously, ensuring compliance with federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933.
- Work with registered investment companies, investment advisers, and handle regulatory and compliance matters.
- Gain exposure to mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), closed-end funds, and work with independent trustees and directors.
Education and Experience Information:
- Possess 4-7 years of relevant experience with registered investment companies and investment advisers.
- Have a . degree with strong academic credentials.
- Be admitted in, or taking steps to become admitted in, the applicable jurisdiction.
Salary Information:
- Annual base salary ranges from $280,000 to $330,000.
- Discretionary annual bonus program available.
