Business & Operations Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
The Business & Operations Analyst at the law firm will be responsible for a range of activities centered around data analysis, process optimization, and strategic thinking. Key responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and distributing regular operational and management reports and updates. The role involves effective communication with various departments and offices to provide key data as requested, and undertaking ad-hoc project management, research, analysis, and execution. The analyst will also prepare responses to surveys and other client requests, proactively identify and implement process improvements, and research, analyze, and interpret information and data to make recommendations to management. Additionally, the analyst will prepare ad-hoc reports, presentations, and analysis independently.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Business & Operations Analyst position are expected to have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, Finance, or a related field. The role requires 3+ years of related work experience in a professional environment, with law firm experience being a plus. Experience or working knowledge of marketing, financial, technology, project management, and strategy concepts is desired. Representative projects may include strategy development, company, competitor, industry, and market analysis, as well as program development and implementation.
Salary Information:
The annual compensation range for the Business & Operations Analyst position is $95-115k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
Additional Information:
Candidates should possess an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions. Effective communication with all levels of personnel is crucial, along with excellent attention to detail, creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and an analytical mindset are essential. Candidates should have strong technology skills, including proficiency in the MS Office Suite (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI applications. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required, and working knowledge of SQL and database structure is a plus.
