Job Responsibilities:
The position involves handling creditor bankruptcy matters, where the paralegal is expected to draft reaffirmation agreements, motions for relief from stay, proof claims, and conduct plan reviews. The role requires an overall knowledge of bankruptcy law and may involve working across multiple jurisdictions. Proficiency in using Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary, while familiarity with case management systems such as Perfect Practice, Case Aware, LoanSphere (LPS), Tempo, Serengeti, or similar is preferred but not mandatory.
Education and Experience Information:
The candidate should have at least three years of experience in handling creditor bankruptcy matters. While no specific certification is required, paralegal and/or legal training is considered a plus.
