Job Title: Paralegal (Case Assistant) USCIS
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare immigration applications for filing with USCIS, including forms such as I-130, I-485, N-400, VAWA, I-290B, etc.
- Draft forms, letters, documents, and correspondence for attorney review.
- Maintain extensive communication with clients to provide updates on case status and ensure outstanding customer service.
- Oversee the status of cases through utilization of case management systems, including CLIO and Airtable.
- Regularly update case management systems with client information, case tracking details, and client communications.
- Complete assignments and communicate case status to the Legal Supervisor.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and initiative concerning case assignments.
Education and Experience Information:
- 1-2 years of experience in Immigration Law.
- Knowledge of USCIS filings, including but not limited to I-130, I-485, VAWA, N-400, N-600, I-131, TPS Renewal, I-589, I-765, I-929, I-290B, and I-601.
- Experience with Case Management Software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
