Paralegal Assistant Commercial Litigation The candidate will organize and maintain files. Assist in discovery and trial preparation and all phases of case management. Develop and maintain working relationships with attorneys, paralegals, and staff members. Quality checks of legal documents. Assisting Paralegals and Attorneys with complex commercial litigation cases involving contract disputes, real estate, construction, franchising, banking and consumer lending matters. Assist with the litigation process, local and state rules of civil procedure and e-discovery, including extensive document collection, review and production. A Baccalaureate degree and certificate from a well-accredited paralegal training program are preferred; significant paralegal experience may substitute for the degree and certificate. Should have the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work product to both attorneys and clients. Should be a self-starter with strong attention to detail. Should have the ability to work independently with appropriate supervision and to seek help when needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed. Strong attention to detail is required.
