Job Title: Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Producing information by transcribing, formatting, and editing documents.
- Managing case preparation from inception to settlement or trial.
- Drafting and e-filing various pleadings and motions with Pennsylvania courts.
- Preparing Discovery Requests and Responses, and standard letters for attorney finalization.
- Maintaining attorney calendars.
- Tracking payments to vendors.
- Preparing Table of Contents (TOC) and Table of Authorities (TOA) for briefs.
- Organizing and maintaining file documents.
- Scheduling depositions and Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) with corresponding documents.
Education and Experience Information:
- 1 to 3 years of prior law firm litigation experience is required.
- Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including styles, automatic paragraph numbering, Excel, and PDF.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
Job Qualifications:
- Applicant must be deadline and detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Must be a team player capable of working independently.
Salary Information:
- Pay is commensurate with experience.
Additional Information:
- The job is a full-time position with a hybrid work component in the Pittsburgh office.

- The schedule is Monday to Friday.
- The position requires the ability to commute to Pittsburgh, PA 15222, or relocate before starting work.
