Job Title: Attorney or Sr Attorney, Government Relations

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal analysis and advice to internal clients on municipal and utility infrastructure access and attachment rights, as well as state and federal rules and regulations related to network operations.
- Advocate, negotiate, and educate other attorneys, policymakers, and officials on relevant legal matters.
- Analyze, advise, and train clients on federal, state, and local issues impacting telecommunications facilities deployment on municipal and utility infrastructure in public rights-of-way.
- Review and analyze bills, rules, and regulations at various government levels.
- Draft comments on proposed rules and regulations and support cross-functional projects to enhance policy positions.
- Attend or support meetings addressing legal or regulatory issues and draft external correspondence.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Attorney’s License: Admitted in the state where the office is located or able to gain admission or comply with applicable in-house counsel registration requirements.
- Minimum of two to five years of experience in utility, planning, zoning, land use, or implementation capacity within a utility, telecommunications provider, government entity, or private legal or consulting practice serving such entities.
- Experience with telecommunications (including wireless) or related industries is preferred.
- Experience working with design and construction teams, preparing permit drawings, and construction documents.
- Experience in litigation or litigation support.
- Comfortable presenting complex material to various audiences, including public speaking or presenting before governmental entities.

Salary Information:
- The pay range for this position is $123,200 to $212,300 annually.
- A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors, including experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location.
- The compensation package may include incentive compensation opportunities such as a discretionary annual cash bonus, commissions, and equity incentives.
- Employees and their families are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
- Employees can enroll in the company’s 401k plan.
- Employees receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

This role falls under a hybrid work model, with office work required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while Mondays and Fridays offer the option to work from home or the office. The position may require travel for collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for essential moments.
