Job Title: Estate Planning Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, health care directives, deeds, trust funding documents, and miscellaneous resources.
- Maintain client files and track case progress using Zoho CRM and Projects.
- Coordinate and host document execution meetings.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, answer questions, and coordinate with the legal team to obtain and relay accurate responses.
- Support attorneys in preparation for client meetings and signings.
- Manage deadlines, follow-up tasks, and workflow systems.
Education and Experience Information:
- Notary Public certification is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in estate planning or probate/trust administration is required.
- Strong knowledge of estate planning documents and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software (., Clio, MyCase, or equivalent – Zoho is used).
- Ability to explain complex legal documents in a clear, down-to-earth, and easily digestible manner for clients of all backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification or degree.
- Experience working in a Florida-based firm or knowledge of Florida estate law.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $65, to $80, per year.
- Pay is commensurate with experience.
- There are bonuses and room for growth.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time, in-office position at the Clearwater location.
- The working hours are from 9:00 . to 5:30 ., Monday through Friday.
- Benefits include paid time off.
- The work schedule consists of an 8-hour day shift, with no nights or weekends required.
