Job Title: Legal Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and enhance office effectiveness.
- Draft and submit Worker’s Comp Board forms.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and others via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
- Prioritize and organize daily tasks and duties to meet client and firm deadlines.
- Schedule meetings, conference calls, appointments, depositions, and mediations.
- Monitor deadlines and coordinate calendars.
- Assist with large document production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- Desire to learn the legal assistant role or currently in school to earn a paralegal degree.
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system.
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office.
- Computer literacy required; working knowledge of case management software, with Time Matters experience being a plus.
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities and work under pressure.
- Experience with editing, revising, and drafting of legal documents.
- Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work products.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Preferred experience: Customer service for 1 year.

Salary Information:
- Starting salary is $45,000 per year.

- The position is full-time, with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.
