Job Title: Senior Manager of Unclaimed Property

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage complex unclaimed property matters, including voluntary disclosure reviews.
- Engage with clients, administrators, adverse parties, and opposing attorneys/accountants to efficiently review and negotiate resolutions for unclaimed property issues.
- Assist in growing, training, managing, and developing a team of unclaimed property professionals.
- Serve as project manager for unclaimed property tasks and deadlines.
- Review, analyze, and reconcile accounting records and deliverables.
- Investigate transactions to determine if they represent unclaimed property.
- Prepare and review calculations of unclaimed property liability and associated statistical sampling.
- Delegate tasks and provide effective feedback to team members.
- Conduct presentations for clients and adverse parties.
- Prepare and review professional client-ready reports.
- Research and review company financial information and unclaimed property issues.
- Review unclaimed property reports filed with states.
- Apply unclaimed property law and regulations to company facts and accounting transactions.
- Investigate and review corporate structures and histories.
- Standardize team-wide review processes for consistency.
- Assist in negotiating unclaimed property settlements.
- Draft and review responses to inquiries and requests from opposing parties.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members at various levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:

- Minimum of 7 years of accounting/audit experience, with at least 4 years in unclaimed property.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, indicating knowledge of statistical, financial, and accounting principles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
