Job Title: IG Electronic Collections Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
The IG Electronic Collections Coordinator is responsible for supporting the lifecycle of electronic information created, received, and transferred from the law firm. Key responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with various departments to implement policies and processes for managing electronic collections external to the firm's document management system.
- Utilizing data management tools to facilitate the creation, tracking, use, and disposition of electronic collections.
- Coordinating with relevant personnel for the correct identification, indexing, and location of electronic collections of both structured and unstructured data.
- Working with the IG Retention & Disposition team to manage information within electronic repositories across different applications and storage environments accurately.
- Providing recommendations to legal case teams regarding the appropriate storage and management of electronic data.
- Performing database audits and close-out reviews to ensure information is managed according to the firm's processes.
- Assisting with information clean-up projects and handling special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Experience working in a professional environment, preferably in a technical role.
- Experience providing exemplary customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Law firm experience is preferred but not required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Significant understanding of database tables and structure.
- Advanced knowledge of Smartsheet and Microsoft Teams.
- Sequel/SQL knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to access, input, analyze, and retrieve information from various computer systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, customer service, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to support multiple priorities simultaneously, accurately, and professionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and report successes and challenges.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information securely.
- Law firm experience is preferred.
- The role requires a high level of mental effort for tracking information, communicating effectively with information custodians, and guiding appropriate electronic information management.
- Regular attendance is essential.
