Job Title: Staff Director Tax and Employee Benefits Law
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel to the company and its subsidiaries to ensure compliance of pension and welfare benefit plans with applicable federal and state laws.
- Represent the plans before government agencies and defend the plans in contested matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum Education: Juris Doctorate Degree and admission to the bar.
- Minimum Experience: Significant legal experience with a minimum of six years in the practice of employee benefits and related tax law.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of employee benefits and related tax law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to comprehend complex federal and state laws, regulations, and other agency pronouncements affecting employee benefit plans.
- Preferred Qualifications: Employee benefits experience required.
Salary Information:
- US Pay Range: $11,546 - $23,091 per month.
- This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job, and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.

Additional Details:
- The desired location for this hybrid position is Memphis TN, but it is open to Pittsburgh or DC. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and will be required to work at a company Campus location several times per week.
