Family Law Legal Secretary The candidate will provide administrative support for four attorneys in a fast-paced environment. Will be responsible for secretarial and administrative tasks including document creation, editing and preparation, filing, time entry, expense reimbursement processing, client bills, telephone calls, travel arrangements, calendar maintenance and mailing distributions. Answer main section phone lines and direct calls; greet clients. Effectively manage and monitor calendaring of deadlines and key dates. Routinely review and follow-up on client deadlines and calendar appointments. Work with the team in the preparation and filing of all court documents and have knowledge of electronic court filings and litigation procedures. Maintain client files - electronic scanning.

The candidate should preferably have 2+ years of legal secretarial experience. Family Law experience is required. Paralegal certificate is also a plus. Must have exceptional attention to detail, ability to exercise good judgment, take initiative and follow through. Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment. Typing speed of at least 50 wpm with a high degree of accuracy. Should be comfortable working with a variety of computer software programs and be capable of quickly learning new ones as needed. Experience with iManage is a plus.
