Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $175,000 if located in Illinois. Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. H2: Join a Global Law Firm as an AV Solutions Manager

The AV Solutions Manager at Sidley is responsible for leading and managing AV solutions globally. This includes developing and implementing a consistent strategy across all offices, as well as establishing solutions for various AV spaces including conference centers, multi-purpose rooms, and collaboration spaces. The manager will also directly lead a team of AV Solution Architects and Engineers and collaborate with key stakeholders to meet business requirements and ensure a premium user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead AV Solutions at Sidley globally.
- Develop and implement a consistent AV strategy across all offices.
- Establish solutions for various AV spaces including conference centers, multi-purpose rooms, and collaboration spaces.
- Integrate AV and UC solutions for a seamless user experience.
- Engage with key stakeholders to meet business requirements and ensure a premium user experience.
- Directly lead a team of AV solution architects and engineers.
- Collaborate with IT colleagues for room scheduling applications, AV bridge operations, and support roles.
- Collaborate with the IT Operations Center for ongoing solutions monitoring.
- Develop and track key performance metrics.
- Manage budget for required investments.
- Set and support global standards for AV systems.
- Manage AV design and implementation projects.
- Review project scope and bill of materials to ensure alignment with requirements and standards.
- Oversee enterprise operations of conference rooms globally.
- Design systems with a variety of AV equipment and services.
- Test and evaluate new technologies.
- Responsible for AV system installations and equipment lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate inventory and create AV content for the firm's intranet.
- Stay current on new technologies and trends.
- Coordinate regular health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Flexible to travel and work additional hours as needed.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 7 years of experience with AV solution design, room buildouts, and global operations.
- Experience managing a team and working with key business stakeholders.
- Expertise in room AV infrastructure and various AV technologies.
- Advanced skills in AV technical services and support.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Cisco Certifications and Unified Communications technologies preferred.
- Experience with EMS scheduling software, Appspace, QSC, Vaddio, Lightware, DANTE, and Solstice a plus.
- Experience working in the professional services industry (legal, advertising, accounting, consulting) a plus.
