The law firm of **Members Only** is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in asbestos and toxic tort litigation, as well as a Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a law-related field.

Responsibilities for this position include providing support to attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including fact investigation, legal research, document preparation, and client service. The Paralegal will also be responsible for managing databases, scheduling and calendaring, and preparing for trials and mediations. In addition, this position will require the ability to work independently and mentor Paralegal Assistants.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills. They must also have the ability to interact professionally with clients and employees, maintain confidentiality, and make sound and practical decisions under tight deadlines. Previous experience in asbestos and toxic tort litigation is mandatory, as well as a Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a law-related field.

Responsibilities:
• Provide support to attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including fact investigation, legal research, and document preparation
• Manage databases and case management systems
• Schedule and calendar appointments and deadlines
• Prepare for trials and mediations
• Mentor Paralegal Assistants
• Work independently and meet billable hour requirements
• Attend and participate in in-house CLEs
• Anticipate attorney needs and provide excellent client service
• Comply with firm policies and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a law-related field
• Experience in asbestos and toxic tort litigation required
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing business demands
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to produce quality work efficiently and accurately
• High level of professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to lead and motivate others and manage direct reports
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and employees
