Job Title: Legal Assistant - Family Law Firm
Job Responsibilities:
As a Legal Assistant at the law firm, you will be responsible for supporting trial attorneys and paralegals in the family law department. Your duties will include:
- Keeping cases organized by establishing and organizing files.
- Monitoring calendars and meeting deadlines.
- Documenting actions and inputting information into file databases and case management software.
- Confirming case status with attorneys.
- Supporting case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation and court appearances, discovery, responses, and filings.
- Accomplishing organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Handling office administrative projects as assigned.
- Providing cross-coverage for other teammates at the front desk, phones, and general office support as needed.
Education and Experience Information:
- A is required.
- More than 2 years of experience working in a family law practice is preferred.
- Experience with law firm administrative tasks is advantageous.
Salary Information:
- The pay for this position ranges from to per hour, depending on experience.
- The position includes annual merit-based bonuses and raises.
- The role is full-time, with expected working hours of no less than 40 hours per week.

- The position offers a hybrid weekly schedule, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
